Springtime is for clearing out old systems that are no longer serving us and updating strategies for a new year. We need to look at a few critical systems during this season, including how we are following up with our leads.
Following Up With Leads
We have learned that when you receive a lead, you need to follow up with them immediately. We have created a simple system to help you follow up with your leads. This system divides leads into three distinct groups: 1. ready to buy or sell now, 2. prepared in 3-6 months, and 3. long-term leads.
- 1. Ready-to-go leads would benefit from more personalized contact from you, including check-in calls, handwritten cards, individual home value market reports, and custom home selling or buying notifications.
- 2. Leads that will be ready in 3-6 months would benefit from receiving monthly letters, cards, and an email drip campaign with general market information, home buyer/seller tips, and examples of properties you are listing and selling.
- 3. The long-term incubator leads will go into a slow email drip.
